Peel AFC Crest

Peelstock 2009

We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of this year's Peelstock (2009) - without the very generous donation of time, expertise and equipment from the people/companies involved this year, running the event would not have been possible.

In no particular order, we would like to thank:

- Jean, Claire & Jason (plus family) from the Creek Inn for the arrangement of the event licence and bar, and the massive assistance given in running the burger van and the bar;

- Justin and the team from ELS for the amazing light show, particularly the dedication shown in setting the lighting gear up into the very early hours of the Saturday morning, and the enthusiasm with which you ran the lighting for the event;

- John, Neil, Gavin and the rest of the guys from Horizon Scaffolding for the construction of the stage for the event, which we appreciate took considerable commitment during the run up towards and clear up afterwards of the event;

- Anglin Buttimore for his setup and management of the sound system for the evening;

- Ed and the team from HF Events for staging equipment, the assistance with the sound, and the effort given in the setting up, running and clearing up of the staging area;

- Street Heritage, as always, for the lend of all sorts of equipment and signage for the event;

- Peel Town Commissioners for the lend of facilities and equipment for the event;

- Heritage Homes for the loan of the generator;

- A3 Marquees for the lend of the flooring;

- All the bands who played  on the night;

- John Cowley for the organisation of the band running order (and the enforced changes on the night which were well managed);

- The IOM Police who helped out significantly with maintaining a great atmosphere at the event;

- Last but not least, all the stewards, bar staff and all the other helpers who gave up their time  to help run the event.

Hopefully we'll see you all again at Peelstock 2010!!
